THUMBS UP FOR THE PLUMBERS’ CLUB
May 29th 2015
Launched earlier this year by Graham Plumbers’ Merchant, The Plumbers’ Club loyalty scheme is already receiving positive feedback from industry experts. The managing director of plumbing, heating and electrical contractor F.A. Atkinson, Colin Reed, is certainly benefiting from joining the scheme and urges others to do so.
North Shields-based F.A. Atkinson undertakes plumbing, heating, gas, renewables and electrical works for domestic new build properties, with sites spread across the whole of the North East. Frequently using Graham’s wide range of boilers, radiators, controls, sanitaryware, brassware and anything that goes into a new build house, joining The Plumbers’ Club was a no brainer for Colin.
Colin started at F.A.Atkinson’s as an engineering technician, progressed to technical director and is now managing director. He is a big fan of the scheme and explains: “I registered online for The Plumbers’ Club following a conversation with the Graham branch manager at North Shields. It was very easy to become a member and let’s face it, why wouldn’t you? There’s absolutely nothing to lose by joining. Each time I buy something I get plumber’s coins, which I load on to the Love2Shop card you get given.
“Then you just choose how you use the points collected. Love2Shop gives total flexibility - you can buy things for the business or when you get enough coins, exchange them for rewards or personal experiences. There are loads to choose from,” he continued.
Graham’s extensive research with customers and branch staff highlighted that customers wanted both business benefits as well as things they can do personally to reward loyalty. This led to the upgrade of the company’s already market-leading loyalty scheme and the launch of The Plumbers’ Club.
The new loyalty scheme allows members to claim and enjoy instant business benefits for example, discounts off mobile line rental and commercial vehicle leasing, or reduced fees on a wide range of training courses. There is also the opportunity to exchange points for rewards like paintballing or a case of wine, with 60 rewards in total to choose from. Alternatively, plumbers can pay off some, or all their account balance, or receive Graham vouchers using their plumber’s coins.
Open to trade customers with a cash or credit account, The Plumbers’ Club is free to join. For further information visit www.theplumbersclub.co.uk
