GRAHAM SET TO BRAVE THE BEACONS
August 20th 2015
A 20 strong team of sales and operations personnel from our southern region will soon be tackling Pen Y Fan in the Brecon Beacons, Wales in aid of our chosen charity, Macmillan.
Taking place on September 17th, the team – headed up by Regional Sales Manager Steven Heney - will be tackling the ‘Brecon Beasty’ challenge – an 11-mile climb up and down Pen Y Fan in just one day.
Speaking about the event, Steven Heney said: “We know Pen Y Fan is used by the SAS for training purposes, which demonstrates just how difficult and demanding the climb will be. We’re all really looking forward to it though, especially as we at Graham are fully supportive of the fantastic work Macmillan do and we want to raise as much money for them as possible.
He continued, “We will be spending two nights in accommodation located close to the Brecon Beacons and to further enhance the team spirit ethos, we are staying in rooms that accommodate four and six people, so there’s a good chance to connect and have a laugh!
“The level of donations we have received so far is fantastic. Our goal is £10,000, so we are still looking for donations and we really hope to reach that goal before the climb on 17th September.”
