GRAHAM GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND IN LOCAL TOILET INSTALL
August 17th 2016
When the team at our Cardiff branch heard about the work Cwmbran Environmental Awareness and ADM Plumbing were doing to help make a local resident’s home more accessible, they were eager to get involved.
Jackie had her leg and toes amputated, which meant she was no longer able to go up and down stairs independently and didn’t have suitable access to a toilet. She applied to her local council to have a downstairs toilet installed, but they were unable to provide her with funding. This left her with the daunting prospect of moving into a new home and being further away from her family.
Luckily for Jackie, Cwmbran Environmental Awareness came to the rescue and offered their assistance. They approached ADM Plumbing, who generously donated their time to carry out all of the works for free, with assistance from Storm Investigations. All of the items required - including Jackie’s new toilet - were added to ADM Plumbing’s Graham account. They intended to pay for everything out of their own pocket, but our Cardiff branch had other ideas and donated all of the items for free.
Congratulations to everyone who got involved in the fantastic team effort!
